Prolieve® uses a unique technique known as “thermodilatation” to treat BPH. The dual actions of thermotherapy and dilatation reduce the size of the enlarged prostate and open up the urinary channel to pass urine. This treatment modality will help to form a biological stent which provides immediate relief of symptoms after the procedure. In most cases, there is no need for post-treatment catheterization.
